ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Note: This kit requires buildup under the gimbal, reel seat and fore grip.

1. GIMBAL
Build up at the bottom of the blank with masking take until the gimbal fits without wobble. Apply epoxy cement above, below and on the tape. After the epoxy has hardened fit the gimbal again sanding off excess epoxy as needed. Cement the gimbal in place aligning the notch in the gimbal with the spline of the blank.

2. BUTT GRIP
The butt grip has a shoulder at the bottom which is not needed for this kit. Cut it off and sand the face and edges of the cut. Cement the grip in place using a clear epoxy like Flexcoat.

3. REEL SEAT
Follow the same procedure used for the gimbal to build up and cement the reel seat in place. Align the reel seat with the spline of the blank.

4. FOREGRIP
The blank needs to be built up just a bit to get a good fit for the fore grip. Some do this with a turn or two of fiberglass cloth and clear epoxy; others build up with masking tape and epoxy cement. Finally the grip is cemented in place with clear epoxy.

5. HOSEL
Slip the hosel in place. Cement is optional. It generally stays in place by friction.
